Pics will come later, too much to do at the moment. Did a pork shoulder yesterday, pulled it this morning. Turkey going on the smoker in the next hour. Tents and tables to set up. Drip beans are done. (Yes, I will leak, er, drip the secret recipe from Pez...) Also doing Jucy Lucy's, Amish jumbo dogs, and Up in Smoke (Justin) is doing turds, thighs and a few other things. After all this is packed in for a late lunch, a couple bushels of steamed blue crabs show up. Just your average casual family bar-b-que, but when you wife is one of eight, it can get crowded!

I have a couple of tri tip with red pappy dry rub, some brauts, some chicken sliced kinda thin for the kiddie's, and some kind of fish for my wife and veggys. My heart is not into it, there is some place I would rather be but I'm sure when I grill sparked up that grill it will all fall into place.

Pretty basic here. I decided on good old fashioned cheese burgers. I also mixed up a pot of beans and a batch of potato salad. Looking forward to chowing down

I'm only responsible for the Tri Tip which is nice 'cause it's quick.  Might pickup some Italian sausage too.  Performer will be called into to duty.

At work today the joy of working for a 24 hour operating company holidays are excluded for the most part. Hopefully will get off work with some daylight to spare and stop at the store and get some ribeyes and veggies to do and have a cold refreshing drink in hand.

Have a good 4th of July everyone and may your glass be full the grill hot and the company you keep today wonderful.
Looking for--- a yellow mbh any size, sequoia ( I know I am dreaming), avocado any size, brownie any size.

+1 for working today.

Grilled chicken, corn and bacon wrapped asparagus last night, as well as smoking some ABT's. Get to enjoy the leftovers for lunch.

I work in Technical Support and was actually talking to some UK customers on US Independence Day    ;D
Dude, relax your chicken.

Working a double today, but someone brought in a grill. Had some burgers, hotdogs, and hot Italian sausages. Can't wait to see what the next shift brings.

I was cooking away from home today, so limited to a single kettle (K-code OT+).  Red, white and blue potatoes roasted for round one.  Round two was broccoli, with hot dogs squeezed in during the shift change.  Then Tri-Tip, followed by grilled yellow zucchini.   All while watching my daughter learn to dive into our friends' pool while her little sisters swam all around.  A very good day.

I was also cooking away from home today so I was relegate to one beater kettle and a park grill. I taught a few buddies how to man the grill over the past few bbq's so I was able to relax more today. Happy Independence Day, folks!
