Bar-B-Q-Kettle CL find

Just brought it home...  http://boise.craigslist.org/app/4546918367.html
Will post pics once I can figure out the best way.  Missing leg cap and 2 small dings in edge of sun-faded lid.  Bowl and ash pan are perfect...

"only used twice" the seller says... Suuure, since YOU got it. I bet its original owners used it more than twice. Great pick up at a great price! The cooking grate looks like new!

Nice pickup. Cant tell if the lid is wood or metal. Thanks for showing.

I do not know what distinguishes one from the other.  Calipers say .190".  Charcoal grate and rails show very light use, no warp or heavy corrosion.

Lid has wood handle with two rivets and small tab vent.  Can anyone help with the date?  I know it is the 1970's but is that the closest that can be determined?

I also saw this last night and about budged on it! Luckily it's staying in the WKC, so I'm not too upset.

The triangle had light rust on it as pictured in the full height photo.  Initially used some 0000 steel wool then switched to brass brush and vinegar.  Need to get the last traces in the joints but it came out really well.
