Stumbled across one on craigslist for $25 so I ran over and picked it up. It came with this rack:

Ran the codes on the Kettle and it is an "F" code so looks like its from 1984. Looks in good shape, but no idea what rack this is or what it is for. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Tom

Wow, you are charmed for sure-- you just scored the coveted CnT ring!  Srsly the best method for cooking sweet corn on the planet-- half a chimney of coals in the middle of the grill, about 8 or 10 ears (husks and all) into the rack/ring, wait 40 minutes (no need to turn), and you're all set.  The ears will be browned and you will be golden!

Damn.....nice score. One of these days I'll find one

Being in Amish country, we eat more than our fair share of sweet corn on the grill every year

Nice Bears grill mat! And the corn and tater ring rocks.
