Any issues with...

...using the 6501 propane adapter hose on a 2012 Performer Platinum?  Seems like it should work, but the performer isn't listed as a model that it works with.

that connector is compatible with the small propane bottles so there should be no issues.

I picked one up Thursday and used it that night.  Worked perfectly.  I was just curious since I've seen posts where people said that Weber said they wouldn't and/or didn't work.  I love that the hose is long enough that I can put the tank behind the cart and it's blocked from view by the charcoal bin.  Does anyone actually use the charcoal bin to hold charcoal?  I've found it works great for holding my covers.  I use a plastic container made by the same people that make the Kingsford Kaddy to hold charcoal.  Have one for briquettes and one for lump.
