Incredible Jeff.  A stunning Sequoia and a terrific clean up as always.

I would find a close match for the missing board and the handle and slap them on.  I like it pretty much just the way it is.  Sometimes there is a danger of 'over restoring' if you replace a bunch of parts.  It is a wonderful piece as it is.  Oh, the stories it tells.

Did it have towel rings?

No towel rings on this one Hank, but I know you can get similar sized ones like you did.  The lid on this was really nice, only a few small chips, and yes, the bowl was a little better than yours was.

Thanks Buckie, yeah...but all means its not a full rehab like we've seen others do...it was just a quick cleanup for now.
