I own both the 1972 and 1979 editions of Barbecuing the Weber Covered Way. It's a great cookbook with some great recipes and some great shots of our beloved kettles and accessories. Of course there were some revisions to the photos taken, some stayed the same, some were color edited for 1979 (i.e. red and avocado SJ's were "blackened" and some avocado kettle photos were re-used but tinted darker green) Red Smokey Joes must have gone away until sometime in the '80s. Some shots were completely redone. Here are some with more to come.
