Does anybody use any apps. For tracking their set ups ? I'm trying "The Pit Pal" but so far it is not real user friendly.
  Any suggestions would be helpful.

I do not use an app for keeping notes, but it sounds like a good idea. I tend to jot stuff down and the lose the notepad. What is not working on the one you use now?
A bunch of black kettles

I've had a few apps but am yet to find one that i like and use
Hmmm... WKC app!!! What functions would make a great app to use when Qing?
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

A timer and an input for auto temp logging? A bit like iGrill I guess.

I don't use any ipad apps, but I do my iphone instead.
I have both weber apps and I think I got the 2 one on sale or free one day.
For gas grilling, the blue rhino app will give an estimate on tank levels and has a log
I did get the igrill mini but with it had another probe.
Example, 1 probe in the pig,and the other for the overall temperature. That way I can do some work around the house, and know when the food is done or when I need to add charcoal.
I was looking yesterday for a good app to log stuff, I downloaded one and it was junk.

Here's a funny commercial from Kingsford making fun of that stuff.

Love it! I suppose Kingsford no longer sells a round kettle? Or any charcoal grill? (Just as well ...)
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
