1952 Cook n Kettle with Roti

Picked up this early 1950's Cook N Kettle with roti. I bought this set from the original owner. The gentleman is 92 years old and dismantled the cart and boxed everything up. He purchased the Cook n Kettle and roti (in the early 1950's) in Tulsa, Oklahoma from the founder of the Cook N Kettle.
The shape of the lid looks very similar in shape to the early Weber kettles.
I cleaned it up and tested the roti. It is ready to go. Even the roti ring is made of cast iron. I'm going to throw a couple racks of ribs on her next weekend.
The owner even included the original manuals

Love it Harris! Love the heavy-duty cast iron. Really reminds me of the Texas style bbq pits, but kettle style. Very nice!

Whoa....what a machine that it is. That thing must have cost a lot of money back then. Do you know anything about that Harris?
That's quite a find. Please document your cook on it. I'd like to see some photos of that and the ribs.
Are those the original wheels it came with? They look like metal hub wheels off a 60's Weber.

Jeff, they're mostly unchanged since the dawn of time.....5 years before Weber:

About $1500 nowadays from what I can figure............

Here is a picture from the 1952 catalog the gentleman sent me. Back then the setup cost about $140. The wheels are not original. I put a pair of 1960s Weber wheels on the cart.
