Replacing Casters
« on: May 19, 2014, 08:15:26 AM »
I am working on an old SS Performer and a couple of Silver series gassers. All of them need their casters replaced. I am not a fan of the OEM style with the cheap plastic wheels and locks. I am sure that I can find a heavier caster, but I am thinking about another option.
I know that the old SS performers without the gas assist did not have casters. Does anyone know if they had solid plastic feet on the end of the legs? or did they just have longer legs?

Jc I think they came with longer legs. Can always extend them with a piece that slips into existing leg and into new piece. No wrlding required just some cutting and grinding for the new piece that slips in.
