Found this on CL today not far from where I was working - these are pretty rare in this part of the country, I havent even cleaned it yet - and I know it has whompass leg syndromeimg]mg]mg]

I think all the MBH redheads are on the left coast.
I found an "A" code blaik last year ..... ain't never seen a red one in these parts.

Look forward to the clean-up pics.  :) :)

Very nice score Dave! The one day I go out of town (to pick up another kettle of course) a red MBH pops up locally - unbelievable!  ;D Glad that you snatched it up and it's going to someone who will appreciate it!

I've also had a run of luck recently and hope to post up some pics of 3 new-to-me kettles I've picked up including a B-Code 1980 Redhead twin to yours (although not quite as nice!)

I love that model, with the daisy wheel bowl dampers. My "A" code fade-black gets a lot of use... Makes the other kettles jealous!

Are you gonna fix the wheel/leg issue?
