I know there are some tight factions of the WKC across our beautiful US of A, especially those groups in MN, IL, MD, and CA to mention a few. But I got to give some credit to the Northeast crew, my NY/NJ/CT tristate area guys have it covered like a wet blanket. Within minutes of the CL posting, BBQMiller alerted me to a "webber" cart in CT. Just so happened I would be only 15 miles away the next day, well within a 30 minute drive, of the seller. I called the night before, had it set up for the following day, and bang, had this loaded in the van for the ride home.

Its in really good shape except for the missing rubber on the wheel, some surface rust, and a piece where the weld broke off (easy fix). I'm already planning what to drop in.

this is the only damage on top

missing rubber... :(

not missing rubber... ;D

side by side to the perfomer. The Selville is slightly bigger, longer. I may drop my quasi-performer blue into it. Unless anyone has a tabbed red they want to part with...

Only problem is I can't try the "What?, that's always been there honey." with the wife.

Awesome score Ant! I'm sure you'll fix it up nice.
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

Heyjude

You can get the replacement tires.. Someone here posted a link.

And you can always try the, "Look Honey, I got this for you, Happy Mothers Day"..
Assuming she would buy that.. If not, flowers are always nice..  8)
I don't care if you don't like my Avatar, its there for me..

Under the heading of: "Weber Kettles & Accessories"
A seemingly insignificant item

A little note card on the new kettle....................

Let's look closer & see what it says..................

"Have you hugged your Weber today?"

I don't know yet. I gotta check with Beef and see how much it is to get it powder-coated.

Good work grabbing that guys.

That woodard page - we need a 'wooddale' page, for steelies and utility trays    8)

Dude, relax your chicken.

Great score Ant!
That blue would look great in that cart
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Glad you got it! I saw it around 20 min after it posted. They had spelled weber with two b's. One look at the pics and I knew what it was.

worth mentioning again the use of a Boolean pipe when searching

So,

weber | webber

That string will search for weber or webber (meaning, showing results for both) without searching for the English word "or".
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Check the caster wheels to see if they spin freely. Check for the ball bearings. Also...remove the rear wheels and clean rust off the axle then install a brass or nylon sleeve. The wheels tend to stick.

A tack weld, a grinder, and some paint should do wonders for that rail.

I'm curious to see what you drop in there and how you mount it. Good catch...
