Breakfast Fattie
« on: May 05, 2014, 10:06:37 AM »
Started with a pound each of locally cut and processed sausage and bacon, no Fattie piston made yet so just made a layer on the rolled out sausage.
Sliced fresh mushrooms, green onions, jalapeņo peppers with grated mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Then I browned cubed potatoes with chopped onion and garlic... Rolled sausage and bacon weave..used a couple tips from the club from my last attempt.

Put in on early this morning and let it go four hours in 275-300 range, turned out awesome!

And plated a slice alone and one slice with a fried egg on top. Fresh homemade bread and jam on the side.
Now to pick out my exercise routine for the week >:(

With your skills, not sure you need the piston!  Awesome job on the roll/wrap.

Served the best way - fried egg on top.  Homemade bread?  I want breakfast at your house.

Looks great. I always wanted to make one. I'll get some pointers from Winz at the Norcal meet.

What's the plastic wrap? Do you cook it with that on, I'm lost.

Not really sure how this message gets sent.

Thanks salad!
Slicked, the plastic wrap was a tip from an expert on this forum who suggested using it to tighten up the bacon weave and hold everything together. It worked especially well when refrigerated overnight.... And definitely remove as in goes on to your kettle of choice ;D
