I'm still in for the 12th. After that I'm jumping ship and getting out of Chicago - too much competition. Bad news is I'll be heading right into the heart of the WDC crowd - they are relentless. Good news is I'm not planning to add many more kettles. Bad news is I'm likely delusional with a statement like that. Good news is I only collect black kettles.

Marty if you see any more Blackhawks hall of famers don't hesitate to get more autographs and bring them on the 12th :-)

On it! Toews walked right past my office after their Cup win last year. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Bumping this up, it's getting closer to that time. I have my health endorsement test for my teaching certificate that day, most likely in the morning so I won't be there until afternoon sometime. Excited to see some folks cook!
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

I will be there with my wife.  Where's all the other Chitown and Midwest folks?

I may have to look at my calendar and see if I can swing this.

If I come it will be in the Corolla, so no room to bring grills with me.

I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

Hey HM...then that means there's no room to bring grills home with you!  From what I hear, you may be disappointed if the rumors I'm hearing are true regarding some special giveaways!

I thought the boys might like to come along. Limits the room I have!

I reckon I could strap one or more kids to the roof.
Better yet, I could leave them at home, then I'd have plenty of room!

In case anyone needs another reason to come down here, I just secured a deal with another club member, and it turns out that the door prize grill will be................A FLATTOP 26" BROWNIE!   No shit.  So if you're on the fence about stopping in for the Chicago meet up, clear your schedule now.....there may be more stay tuned...
