I was thinking of making some poppers, maybe a taco salad, probably some sort of meat at well.

What time is this thing gonna go till?  You got a cerfew Brian?  I want to see all your grills lined up like soldiers again.  I wanna see the Smokey Joe lights working on Mesa Azul too.   There should be some sort of grill working at all times while we're there.

As much as I have tried to work it out I won't be there this go around. Really would love to see Brian's family and of course fellow wkc'rs but maybe next time.

Looks like I'm going to be there. Is there a specific start time to this shindig?

I'll bring my Weber wok (I'll need a grill to put it on, any chance someone might have one?) and do some bok choi, onions and peppers as a side.

Might even be bringing one or two of the boys! No, you can't grill them.
I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

I think it's going to be hard to prevent that!

Last time I saw Brian's yard it looked like there was an extra grill or two sitting in the corners, along the verge, behind the pool, next to the deck and all spots in between. (Unless one of his hounds ate them!  ;D )

Right on.  I'd love to go check out those massive collections in Chi-town.  Maybe even visit the Weber Restaurant.   ;D

We need a local DFW meet up sometime this year too tho....let's get on it!

You guys should see Thin Blue Smoke soon. Hey Todd - are you there yet? It would be great to see a real WKCTXBBQ Meetup happen. Hey, and did I just hear that Obama cut the line at Franklins?

Winz

I am getting excited about this meet up and I am not even attending!

Looks like a great lineup of attendees.  Please take lots of pictures (people, food, and of course kettles) so we can all live vicariously through you.

Cheers!

In an ongoing relationship with a kettle named Bisbee.

Thin Blue Smoke

Thanks for the heads up Marty!  I can't get back for the Chicago meet but I can make a DFW one!

If he did, he should pay for everybody behind him.. And not with my money either!

I don't care if you don't like my Avatar, its there for me..

If Obama comes to our meetup, he will have to wait his turn!

That said, we usually have enough food so no one has to wait in line. ;)
