I have a Weber Performer and I'm currently tossed up between getting a Kettle-Q or a hunk of Brazilian Ice (A grilling stone). Anyone have any preferences or recommendations? Is the Griddle with the gourmet system big enough?  Basically I'd like to cook about 4 burgers on it. Doing some math I've worked out that Brazilian Ice is 108 sq inches, Kettle-Q is about 200 sq inches and the Weber Griddle is 113.

Do you have any pictures of this other stuff, it sounds interesting...., I think the gourmet system is a little small....

The Gourmet system inserts are about 11" diameter, about like a "regular" stove frypan.
The Brazillian Ice is smaller, 10x7".
The Kettle Q is largest, about 17" diameter.

I should think the Weber griddle could handle 4 burgers OK, the Brazilian Ice ... no. The Kettle Q of course has plenty of room but is overkill for "4 burgers" and you won't be using the grill for anything else at the time, like corn on the cob or other veggies that will turn out amazing.

Much also depends on what you like to cook on. If I'm going to the trouble and expense of a "gadget" I tend to prefer cast iron cooking surfaces. So if the Gourmet insert griddle is too small there are plenty of rectangular griddles around from various companies, Weber, Lodge, Pampered Chef etc.

If you're a round-griller ONLY type of guy and want an efficiently-sized round SS surface, the Kettle Q makes sense if you dedicate it to the task. Keep in mind you give up more of the Weber charcoal benefits such as the natural smoke flavor (because it isolates food from charcoal) and ability to cook above and below the 22.5" surface while the burgers cook.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

One other Griddle that got recommended some where else was the Lodge Cast Iron pans the Lodge LDP3 is 160 Square Inches so I should be able to cook it all on there.

Here is one that should work well on a 22 kettle. I just picked one of these up. May be a tad larger than the lodge rectangular griddle linked to above.

I picked one up for $19 at Marshall's last week I haven't used it yet, but I think it is a good value.

I can't say about the griddle but I have a Weber Gormet Sear Grate which is the same size and I can get 5 half pound burgers to fit.
