Most unlikely first cook 26.75
« on: April 27, 2014, 06:50:59 AM »
So I didn't think the first cook on my new grill would be fish but it came out great and I had fun with it. Grilled steelhead and prosciutto wrapped asparagus.

Well apparently my pics did not attach.  I will have to go back to my regular computer and redo.

I like your style. No issues with fish sticking to the CI?

That looks great! I've been wanting to do a trout but worried  about sticking as well. Tell us more

Stuck very little.  I used olive oil and salt on the outside skin.  I used avocado oil on the grates just before adding the fish.  I cooked indirect until about 135 about 20 mins a side and then seared for 3 mins on each side.  Also the fish was stuffed with lemon slices and garlic plus salt and pepper.
