New Weber Colors for the US?
« on: May 06, 2019, 10:39:22 AM »

Today, Weber has a post on their Facebook page.  "Something big is coming...........We're just not telling yet".  There is a photo GIF that flashes the four Canadian colors.   Looks like Weber will be releasing the slate, smoke, white and spring green colors in the US.  Probably not what the guys that had them shipped to the US from Canada want to hear..

UPDATE:
May 7, 2019 Ė Weber has given us a bone! For the last decade Weber Kettle Clubís hardcore grill collectors have begged, pleaded, and even traveled overseas to acquire a grill of color.

Today Weber has announced FOUR NEW COLORS to the Weber Charcoal lineup!

Ivory, Lime Green, Slate, and the elusive Smoke colored charcoal kettles will be available in the new Master Touch model Ė which starts at $249
Itís currently unknown whether these grills will maintain their longheld USA manufacturing or if these new kettles follow suit of last years Red LE fiasco and are being enameled in China.

Weber Kettle Club community has been actively pursuing and collecting old, colorful Weber charcoal grills for more than a decade and the current increased interest in fun colorful grills is no doubt the result of WKC popularity.

Previously these Weber Charcoal grill colors were available in Europe and Canada, with dozens of members shelling out $500-$1000 to import a single grill. Sometimes being an early adopter is expensive.

Oh man...that's exciting...I'd love to see the ivory and spring green in person before I make a decision...now if only they were selling these colors as 26ers, then they could have all my money.

Exciting! So, we're getting yesteryear's Canadian kettle colors, priced at tomorrow's U.S. jacked up retail prices! Happy & sad at the same time!

Looks like the release of new colors for the US market. The Weber website has a small glitch where it shows the Master Touch available in new colors.

What is the big deal here. Same Canadian colors that were out for few years already.

Unless, those 4 colors came in SJ, 18", or 26" which I highly doubt. Now, I may get little excited if MT came in a blue wave color which I also doubt will happen.

The big deal is we can now get them in the states and if the website is correct, for $250 instead of over $300+ to get one here from Canada.
