Ebay also snags 10% of the shipping charge ($10 of the $100 charged), so ebay is getting $115.10
Paypal charges $0.30 plus 2.9% of the total transaction, so Paypal is getting $33.68

This leaves the seller $1002.22 (including what they were paid for shipping) out of which he has to pay (or take the time to scrounge) shipping materials and still pay for shipping costs.

Still not too shabby.
