Check your Walmart for this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Western-30LB-Hardwood-Lump-Charcoal/375025590

Not a Memorial Day sale, but a temporary product it seems. Only used it a couple times so far but no complaints. 30lbs for $10!

Thanks for the heads up, just ordered 2 bags.  The Walmarts by me are so weird.  I've been there a couple times the last few weeks and always check to see what charcoal they have.  Nothing but Kingsford blue and royal oak.  I go online and it says this is available for pickup today at my local Walmart.  I have to wonder what else they have that isn't on the floor.

HD here finally shows KBB @ 9.88.
Lowes is still @19.99 "Special Buy"

Lowes has zero Weber
HD has plenty but @ $17.47 which is ridiculous.

Doubt it.

Go to weber.com and it's
featured on the home page ad crawl.
Still touted as "New".

Of course they're still pushing the red LE as well.

Weber 20-lb Charcoal Briquettes in the Virginia Beach, VA area Lowe's are all still $11.99. No Memorial Day sale price reduction yet.

I just got the Lowes flyer saying the twin pack will be $9.88 5/24-5/28. Yay! I assume HD will have a similar price; if not then price match plus extra 10% off :D

Also, 14# bag of Stubbs for $7.99.

Stubbs for $7.99? I guess thatís as good as it will get.

FWIW if you order online for in store pickup there does not appear to be a limit at Loweís.

My local Costco has the twin pack of Kingsford Comp on sale for $14. I've seen prices vary between locations, even one 15 minutes down the road, so best to call to double check prices. This was at the Sterling location for you local folk.

I have a general disdain for Walmart as it has overtaken too many small towns for me to count, including my wifeís hometown, but I may have to sneak in there for a bag of the Western lump. My buddy bought some and the pieces are big; and I like em big. See below for example.

I think that 30lb Western "Special Purchase" bag for $10 will be the unsung deal of the year. Not because it's the cheapest charcoal per pound (it's not) but because it seems to be good lump for a good price. The only reason why I only have two bags is because I haven't yet brought my truck for the rest.

Glad I got the two bags I did, since the store hasnít participated in any more sales. Including the $7.88 KBB double bag sale.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I picked up two bags earlier in the week. Havenít cooked with it yet, but just emptied a bag into my charcoal bin. There are some massive chunks.  Thinking this will be really good for my drum smoker. Might pock up a couple more bags if my Walmart has any left.
