This is The same as my power user / daily kettle. Such a fantastic grill. And simple, too, nothing complicated. Just a kettle and a table.

I love mine. Only difference I see is my vent insulator is grey. I agree high price, but if u find one of these platinums at a good price go for you'll love it too.

It is a Performer, just not a Performer Platinum. Like today's Performer Gold but without the timer and charcoal bin.

Still a good deal compared to new, or compared to a new OTG especially since this once comes with the two extras.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Addicted, I really think this is properly called a one touch platinum, and not a performer in any sense.  This is what the OTP looked like a few years ago.

Here is a schematic from appliancefactoryparts . com for example:

And, IMO, $155 is way high for a CL OTP.

Aye, I was going off the current naming convention for models with tables like that. But if when it was new it was a One Touch Platinum then that's of course what it is. Thanks for the correx!

zorknards2: Yeah that's not unexpected. He'll either learn what the market will bear or he won't. Given the features it has *compared to a new grill* I still think it's a decent deal.

Addicted - I myself also had these confused when I was newer to the Weberitis & WKC.  This style of OTP doesn't have front casters, front panel, a coal bin, and has a larger overhang on the table.
.
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!
