9891 Rotisserie cradle
« on: February 14, 2019, 04:31:44 AM »
Great deal on a 9891 Rotisserie cradle.  These are meant for Genesis Silver B/C size gassers, but apparently they fit a 26" Cajun Bandit roti ring perfectly.  $50 with free shipping is a great deal if you're in the market for one.  I've got a cradle that fits the 22" roti ring... much, much easier to use than a traditional spit.

So do you use this on your 22 Cajun bandit ring and it fits on it right out of the box?  Not sure how it would fit on the 26" because the description says its only 21.5 inches long.

I concur with you Bob 100%. I have this particular EZ-Que cradle. I bought it for my old 2002 Weber Genesis Silver B gas grill. I unexpectedly sold the Genesis before I ever got a chance to use the cradle rotisserie. I subsequently tried it on my 26.75 kettle and to my amazement, I discovered it fit perfectly! Oddly enough, I have tried to sell my EZ-Que cradle rotisserie since then and I haven't been able to get a single offer on it. The reason I imagine is that there are very few people out there with the older Genesis grills or people with a 26.75" kettle? I can't seem to give mine away? Strange...
This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"

I was hoping it fit the 22 kettle since I have the 22" rotisserie ring.   Don't really like having to mess with tying up the bird and the forking the bird.  This cradle looks like it would be so much easier.   Will look for the EZ Que Cradle to fit the 22.  Thanks.

The cradle itself is 21.5"... that measurement does not include the posts/handle on either side.  The cradle that fits the 22" roti ring measures 17.5" long.

This one should be the right fit for the 22" roti: https://www.ebay.com/itm/E-Z-Que-Gas-Grill-Rotisserie-for-Ducane-2004-05-17-5x6/112382662544?hash=item1a2a875790:g:q2UAAOSwBOtY~f85:rk:8:pf:0

Thanks @Bob BQ.

There’s another one that the guys been trying to sell for awhile now and keeps reposting in Ventura, CA. It’s now $40 and as of now he won’t budge on the price.

Today, I lucked out & bought a BNIB 9890 locally for $20.

It also is said to fit the 26", but it does not come with the Hannibal Lecter cage.

Still looking to part with your 9891?  How much do you want for it?
