I recently was given a kettle grill from a neighbor and discovered its an old one. Doing research I'm confused on the date, wood handle, no stamp or patent on the vent but two tab bottom vent

From the looks of it '75 or '76

Thanks. I was thrown off by the vent that has no patent info at all.

I read from this page
https://www.virtualweberbullet.com/determine-age-weber-grills-smokers/#charcoalnocode
“BAR-B-Q KETTLE” and no patent info on lid damper dates to 1964-1968.
Is it possible I have a lid from an older model than the bottom?

based on the lid vent I would say yes to the mismatched top and bottom

Thanks! Now that I have a new obsession (old webers) my next task is to find a matching bottom!
