Yep it covers the top and sides, I guess it distributes the weight when stacking so the top doesn't collapse.

The finish is perfect.
It has a an iridescent pearl in the coating that makes it look amazing. It is not a plain color.

There were extra hard edge caps on the top sides of the box to protect it in shipping.

I ordered mine on Tuesday and got it in ONE DAY! It showed up Wednesday in perfect shape.

I am not sure how to post pics. Can anyone tell me how?

Yeah, you should double check with Weber. I ordered mine on the 22nd, and it arrived on Friday. Geographic locations aside, you still should have received an email with a FedEx tracking link.

Nice! Congratulations! I'm still amazed at how much bigger/heavier these are than the 22s
