Title: Help identify please
Post by: Lilyankee on September 01, 2020, 02:59:19 PM
Anyone know what this is? I know rusty and rough, but what make is it?
The lid handle is stainless and home made, not original. But the wheels and triangle look to be correct. The leg sockets are different....(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200901/7bae5407ebc17fb656c4ad948aa072d9.jpg)

Happy Cooker, I believe.  Not a Weber.

Don't think it's a Happy Cooker with those cupped leg sockets.   I know someone who will know though.

Old Landmann?

Is there a story behind it?

What’s the rest of the grill look like?

No story, just junk picked by a friend. The lid and bowl are very heavy, twice as thick as Weber. It could probably take sandblasting and get powder coated. Just curious if anyone knew the make. The triangle looks like a 26” Weber but is similar in size to a 22” triangle, but 4 triangles instead of 3.

It's a rat rod grill.  Leave the patina and make it a cooker!

I'm thinking, old Landmann looking at the leg sockets.
