Title: Howdy from South Texas
Post by: BrentCDay on July 26, 2020, 12:58:51 PM
I'm a proud owner of the 22.5" Kettle One Touch Gold and a Spirit II S-210. I've been on the fence about buying a pellet grill for ease and convenience even though it can all be done on the Kettle.

Welcome!  You've got a nice setup.  No pellet experience here, too many kettles in the way lol.  Enjoy the forums here, I've learned so much from this friendly group.

I am presently repairing 4 rusted legs on my 2-burner Weber.  Using aluminum 1" square tubing. Most difficult part was drilling holes for cotter pins in axle shaft. Drill press did it.  There are factory holes above rusted area so used them to secure alum   tubing. Alum is 1 " but outside measurement of Weber metal leg is 1 1/4 ", so some slight wobbly. I may shim with strip of alum or thin wood. I am wondering about putting some super glue on SS washers on the alum over the holes and inserting the alum tubing back inside the Weber leg. Anyone tried this? Sounds good in theory but reality? Thanks, Tech-Zero
