Title: A great steak marinade
Post by: Foster Dahlet on May 22, 2020, 05:29:13 PM
So I had to come up with a marinade for an Aldi angus top sirloin(?).  Can't remember exactly what cut it was, but not top shelf.   This recipe worked great in a pinch...so good.  The sweetness worked so well with the spices and charcoal.  Highly recommend.

3/4 cup olive oil
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
8 cloves garlic minced
1 1/2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
2 sprigs fresh rosemary

For it to be great, where are the pictures?! It does sound good though.

Haha.  No pics. Wasn't expecting much from it and the cook was impromptu. Nonetheless, the steak was cooked over direct heat to medium rare.
