It was fun to cook in it.  Best part was taking it off and being able to toss the normal grate and cook my steaks

Do you have the SS one? I always burn off all the hard work (seasoning) going back and forth. I have the older rolled steel one for the KP though.

Yes, I have the SS one.  Used it for a couple of pizza cooks, but am interested in using it as a griddle.

Nice looking griddle, however, will stick with my excellent light-weight and easy-to-clean Grillgrates from Grillgrate.com for grilling my chorizos, hotdogs, burger patties, etc.

Just ordered the 18" version.
I got the smaller one so I can use it on my 18 while camping for bacon, eggs, smash burgers or anything else requiring a griddle or skillet.
Hopefully it will be here by friday before we leave for our next camping trip.

Sorry about adding all the different cooks to your thread dirtfishingman. I hope that you do not mind.
This should be the official Hunsaker griddle pics post. If it wasn't for your post I would not have one of these.
Loving it for camping so far.
Thank you [emoji106][emoji482]

Looks Good, however, my problem is storage after the cook.  I have A Weber Performer Deluxe in which I store my SlowNSear Plus, DripNGriddle Pan, SlowNSear SS Elevated Grate, some Grill Grates, Weber Grill Pan etc. Can't store it in my WSM 18" Classic or Weber Smoky Joe and have limited storage space in my Condo Complex. Also, I think I can do pretty much what the Hunsaker Griil can do with my Grill Grate or Lodge CI Baking Pan.

Sounds like you need another grill for storage. [emoji16]

Anyone using the Hunsaker with either a SlownSear or a Vortex? Thinking of picking up one. Thanks!

Yeah, don't use it with the vortex; sns maybe, but don't fill the basket with coals this thing really benefits from spread out less direct heat
& you don't want it to warp under intense focused heat

I agree with @Metal Mike .  While I don't have the Hunsaker, I do have the SNS plancha and it works really well with foil lined Weber charcoal baskets on each side under the holes (to catch grease and scrapings) and coals spread out on the coal grate from center to the back, leaving the front third to half of the coal grate open for a cool zone.
