So there's an opportunity to pick up an 18" one of these up for $50. It's not a standard kettle in that it has the 3 independent vents on the bottom instead of the one touch system, like the WSM has.
Does anyone have an input on these? In my brief research it appears this is not a US model, yet it's new in box, older with wooden handles, etc.

It is a US model. They were cheaper than the one touch grills and sold as “economy kettles”. Complete with black wheels and a racing triangle. The bowl vents are installed by the buyer. If you buy it, upgrade the hardware to SS.
