Hey MA members, let's find a way to meetup again this fall. September is a great Month for grilling, and I'm open to suggestions as to location and dates. Saturday, September 21st is the official start in Germany, and that's as good a placeholder as any. There are a bunch of new members in the area, and we have not seen some of the original members for years. Help me pass the word! Suggest a cool central venue! @Peaspurple @Firemunkee @mike.stavlund @OoPEZoO @teerhardy @acreative007 @wyd @dwnthehatch @Tim in PA @bman @weber MD and all the screen names I can't remember.

I was so excited about this I didn't even check my calendar. My wife is working that day so I have to watch the kids. They are 3 and <1 so it is no walk in the park. Depending on where the meetup takes place I may be able to make it.

@56MPG my wife is working every weekend after that all the way through October. The only exception is Oct 12, where I'm free until dinner time.

These are not formal organized affairs, just a small group of like-minded Weber fans cooking with friends. Bring something to cook, something to cook on, something to share. This ain't your Chicago-type Meetup with vast collections of pristine kettles to perv, or a giant swap meet, or celebrity appearances, or fly-over videos. More like any other Saturday when we cook something good to eat, but we're doing it together. You can come and go as you like - no commitment to anything in particular.
Once our host jumps in he will provide some details as to when and where.

I am a tentative yes, with my two little ones, depending on the time of day. I probably won't be able to stay very long though.
Also there will be a little bit of swapping going on because the host is supposed to be buying my brownie 😋

I have a bunch of kid activities packed right around noon, so I'll either come earlier or later, depending on the time frames the host comes up with. I may bring a family member or two as well. LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!!!

@rabon88red welcome to the club, having a meetup is one of the most enjoyable things we do here in my opinion, thanks for joining and hosting. Trying to figure out a way up to make the meetup and visit my granddaughter in Manassas as well

Bring em! I'll be bringing mine, 3 and 1. My 3yo knows not to touch grills. I won't be letting go of my 1yo lol since I'll be flying solo that day I most likely won't stay for very long though.

Back in town and looking forward to Saturday. House is open 8am till after dark. There should be everything you will need (kitchen, bathroom, power). If parking gets crowded there will be available parking close by on the street. Drinks are allowed. If anyone is driving far or not able to leave the night of, there is plenty of room in the finished basement if you have to crash. Or plenty of tent space in the backyard. I'll be available all day. I will be there around 6:30pm or so with my 3yo and 1yo. I probably will only be able to stay an hour or so before having to head home to get them ready for bed. Thanks for opening up your home Rabon!

Hate to say I'm a No-Go for tomorrow. Really, I hate to say that! My job heated up this week and I ended up in Dallas for some research tonight. Won't get on a plane back until later tomorrow. I held out as long as I could before making the call, hoping there would be a way. Not this time.
Hope you all have a good time, good food and good cheer. Whenever two or more WKCers are gathered, it's all good.

Who all is still going? Is there a time that's being targeted? As it is I feel like people are coming and going whenever during the day. I'd like to meet some members but unsure how to do so with my limited availability.

I'm here and starting a slab of slab of ribs at 12 to eat this evening. We have cornhole and other yard games. Light up the fire pit and hang out. So anyone come on this afternoon.

I'm trying to plan my visit to coincide with @Firemunkee so my girls can hopefully entertain his girls. I'll probably arrive earlier than that, though.
I have my MBH loaded up, along with @rabon88red 's Weber banner. My marinating peri-peri chicken will be riding shotgun...

Looking good fellas. Son had baseball Saturday so the afternoon/evening was spent on that. Hope to be able to make it to one of these, someday.
