Title: '92 Redhead Gen 1 Performer test run
Post by: jacko1962 on March 21, 2019, 05:40:39 AM
I am trying Duplicolor car wrap in a can. I want to see how well it holds up on the stainless. If I don't like it peels right off.

Cooked 2 pizza's last night at 700 degrees. SS near the kettle did not get affected at all. If it works out I may put on true car wrap. I like the stainless but when the sun hits it I burn out my retinas. Also want to protect the stainless for the future. I wonder if true car wrap would work on the plastic tops. May have to drive to Maine to get the performer for 50 bucks to try it.

Not sure why my picture is gone but the spray on coating failed on me. When I used some lump in the chimney I got a few crackles and it landed on the coating. Peeled back a bit.
