Title: ..... 26 One Touch Platinum
Post by: GrillGuyMosier on November 29, 2018, 03:49:00 PM
I put a 26 in a 22 OTP cart. I'm loving it! The shorter table puts this at perfect height. This is my first version, I have more I want to do to it... But it's together and I can use it.
I also used some right angle strips to make this performer table(thanks Tom) work on this cart, and also for some extra support.

Happy Grilling!!

The space of a 26’er plus the convenience of the platinum cart.  Sweet mod!

I like it a lot, nice height for a 26. I think the 26er's could stand to be a little taller

That is awesome!
Where did you get the brackets?

Here was a mock-up I did a few years back when my front socket broke off.
Weber replaced the bowl, so I didn't finish it.

@qwesthunter makes some very nice bowl brackets. Better designed than the commercially avaliable brackets. It's made out of 1/8" 304 stainless.

I had a local fab shop make these brackets, and some other grill things for me. But I gotta ask.... What all is going on inside that kettle?  Eye bolt in the center? And what is that ring thing where the cooking grate goes?

Very nice mod! My question is did you drill out the inside bowl for future gas assist?
