Title: Adaptor - old Performer regulator to new QCC1 tank
Post by: notch1200 on August 01, 2018, 02:14:20 PM
I have an old Weber Performer grill (2001) and a new propane tank. I need an adapter to couple the old regulator to the new tank - see pictures. Is there a less expensive solution than Weber part no 62642????

@notch1200  - These are sold at a local True Value Hardware. On the left is a QC adaptor for the tank. The one on the right would is a straight swap with the QC on your current regulator.

I would go with the one on the right.   The one on the left is a bit difficult to remove after you add it to the tank.

How much did the new tank cost you?  My local Ace Hardware can get it for $55+tax, and Amazon had it for ~$60 shipped.
