I have made some really good rubs, but like trying some commercial examples from time to time.
What are some of your favorite commercial BBQ/seasoning rubs?

I like the Stubbs line of sauces, rubs, and marinades.

I've been into Oakridge lately.

I’ve had good luck Penzy’s rubs like BBQ2000 and 3000. They are a good base to build from and add whatever else.

Where do I start? I've got a cabinet full of them.
There are a few local ones that I really like: Hogs 'N Heat, Rustic Rub, Code 3 and Buckhead. And there's a spice shop in Soulard Market at STL that has a few really nice concoctions that they mix up and sell in small containers.
A friend turned me onto a rub from Texas called Rudy's Rub. He buys several at a time and shares them. It's good on just about anything.
Killer Hogs rub is excellent.
I sometimes use Corky's and Rendezvous out of Tennessee, or one of the K.C. rubs, like Arthur Bryant or Gates.

My go to commercial rub is Pappy’s. It’s similar to Lawry’s but better. Use it on Tri-tips and whole chickens and it’s great.

Rub’s swampboys bbq sauce, vinegar sauce, and his rub are all fantastic.
Hogs n heat products are also fantastic. Their all purpose seasoning goes great on everything. By far my favorite all purpose besides Tony’s.
Speaking of Tony’s, that’s still my favorite. Add a little brown sugar and it’s a great simple rub.
I really like famous Dave’s rich and sassy on ribs and in beans.
Montgomery inn is my favorite on chicken.
I’ll make bbq chicken using open pit once in awhile just to bring me back.

I eat a lot of chicken breast, I give it a shake of one of these then on to the grill, indirect heat

Can’t go wrong with Killer Hogs rub and sauce . His new vinegar sauce is money too. Oakridge rubs are little pricier but really good too. Love Victory Lanes rubs and they have a great variety from all seasoning rub , bbq rub , and finishing rubs. Just got the jalapeño season all rub and it’s fantastic. For a all purpose base seasoning that works well from veggies to fish , Heaven Made products called Its Incredible and that’s the only way to describe it.

I'll second the Mad Hunky rubs and brines...

I’ve grown up on Pappy’s (being originally from the Central Valley). A lot of people really like it. However, I’ve really gotten burned out on it to the point that I bought a small shaker 3 years ago when I moved back to California (for nostalgia) and have only used it once.
My friends and family (and local butchers) put it on everything. The red label is very salt heavy. I will say their Fajita seasoning is really good though.
Thanks everyone...
@wessonjb I ordered the sampler from Oakridge because I have really been wanting to try their stuff for a while. I’ll see what I like and then commit to a larger quantity. Plowboys and Killer Hogs are next on my “try” list.

Are weber rubs any good ?

Are weber rubs any good ?
You know I have found them to be hit and miss.
One that I didn't care for (I don't recall the name) was a Weber Rib rub. It had a very fine, powdery texture and tasted like generic BBQ Chips.
However, one that I really like is their "N'Orleans Cajun Seasoning." It is fantastic on potatoes. Very similar to 5 Guys Cajun Fries.

Kickn chicken is my favorite on chicken and pork chops. It’s great stuff. I like several of their seasonings but can’t think of the others right now.

I️ like weber Steak and Chop on burgers and steaks. Pretty good as a base and the wife and kid will eat it as it’s not too spicy at all. I️ add a little heat to mine for fun a little bit of Slap yo Mama

I also like Pappy’s for beef, although I use the lower sodium version. I also like Meatchurch. Very flavorful rubs and provide good color.

Loot N Booty - Everything Rub and What's yoru Beef
Big Poppa Smokers - Sweet Money, Money, and Cash Cow
Meat Church - Holy Gospel
Simply Marvelous - Sweet Seduction and Genies Trinity

I normally try to always whip up my own rubs but I was in a hurry last night and tried Stubbs Chicken rub along with the ManLaw drumstick rack.
The Stubbs chicken was great. The ManLaw rack is flimsy and rusted after 1 use and 1 wash.

Blues Hog seasoning for pork butts, Zero to Hero for ribs as well as 17th Street Magic Dust from Mike Mills. All of the Code 3 Spices for various things, and finally Killer Hogs AP Rub for brisket with added coarse pepper. With steaks, I just can’t get away from Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning.

Seasonings I use all the time are...
Weber Seasonings...
Kick N Chicken
Beer Can Chicken
Zesty Lemon
Boston Bay - (No longer made)
John Henry's Seasonings...
Old Stockyard - (Great on pork shoulder)
Texas Chicken Tickler
Hot Wing Rub - (Easy on this stuff)
Dizzy Pig Seasonings...
Swamp Venom
Cow Lick Steak
3 Beer Seasoning
BBQ Rub
There are a lot more but if I was going to recommend I to always have on hand it would be the Old Stockyard because can’t get it everywhere and I do a lot of pork shoulder.

This is really good on chicken and salmon. I see it at Lowes sometimes also.
Three Little Pigs' Kansas City Touch of Cherry Rub

For Steak check out Hardcore Carnivore Black, it has coconut charcoal in it.

You had me at "Jess Pryles" and "rub".
I understand she's also a cook.

Not too long ago I bough 3 bottles of the black, it is good on steak. Just don't add salt or anything else. It has all you need for good taste.

I like the Stubbs line of sauces, rubs, and marinades.
I will second this, @kettlebb . My most recent go at ribs was a few weeks ago.
They turned out fantastic. Some of my best ribs ever …. I think … ;)
I used nothing but Stubb's rub and sauce to finish. The briquets are amazing for low'n'slow.
I also used some small chunks of hickory for smoke. I usually go with apple and / or cherry.
This was my first time trying the rub and this particular flavour of sauce. Highly recommend it.
