My Username is HiDesertHal, not hideserthal.
When I enter my correct Username, the Forum says it's incorrect, which is wrong, and I won't alter it to make the Forum happy!
Read this again: HiDesertHal. See the capitals H, D, and H?
That's my Username, dude!

The moderators on the other 6 forums I belonged to were not paid either, yet they always got my Username and Password correct.....

Hal, it's OK, the mods will get to it. They have their families and work to take care of first, but they are a responsible bunch about what goes on here. I'll translate in my head to HiDesertHal for the meanwhile.

Hal, I appreciate you getting to know us and this forum, it would behoove you to take a look at your account profile settings. This was as simple as putting HiDesertHal in the display name.
Mods are very busy at the moment and while I appreciate the input, I am going to be honest you are pretty high maintenance with all the issues you are having. We are not paid to do this, it is time freely given.
Good luck Hal, I hope to see some of those pictures that you have.

Oh and BTW your username is Hal Pollner, your display name is HiDesertHal I don't think we can change your username. I know I can't.

Hal my display name is Craig but my user name is Husker_Red. I am a moderator and my username CANNOT be changed. However the DISPLAY name CAN. All that has to be done is what lightingboldtz just said. Hope this helps.

The forum software isn't doing anything wrong, it's simply displaying your name as you originally entered it.
Do you need an admin to change your name?
