for the guys that cut a lid instead of buying a pizza attachment could you post up some pics please? have an extra black lid that would be perfect for this

Not off hand

But just went and measured

13.5 +/-  edge to edge
16.5 +/-  around the circumference

I just eyeballed it when I cut it.

Wanted just enough room for a peel and a pizza.

So do these cut lids cook pizza as well as the pizza atachmet kits

Good to know. Now the only problem is going to be is to find a lid.
