I took a nod from @varekai and made a cutout on my double insulated lid.

Cut the opening just above the rim of the lid, it is very stable.

Cut the inner lid a bit oversized from the opening to scrounge a cover.

Added 3 ground magnets and a Performer charcoal bin lid handle.

This looks great! Can you tell us how it performs, do you get higher temps for pizza? Or use less charcoal for low and slow?
