Title: Adding thermometer to Q 2200
Post by: rivercityjeff on May 30, 2016, 04:53:07 AM
Picked up a year old Q on Craigslist for $75.  We use it when camping.  I noticed the current models have a thermometer in the lid, this one doesn't.  Heading to Wally World to see the thermo location on the lid and probe length. Bet I can find a suitable solution. Photos to follow.

Dirt easy.  Drilled 1/8" pilot hole and then a hole slightly larger than the thermo stem.  Tighten the wingnut and now I don't have to put my beverage down to know when the grill is heating or out of gas.
