Title: WSM Score
Post by: tb80 on July 06, 2015, 05:07:23 PM
I have had a good week. As some of you may recall I found a red master touch on CL last week for $45.  Today I found an 18.5 WSM for $85.  It is a DZ code without the thermometer on the lid and 2 of the vents are a little out of whack, but overall it is in pretty good condition. I haven't decided whether I will keep it or flip it. I already have a 22.5 WSM and a mini WSM so I don't need it.

I also am considering giving it to my inlaws. I smoke brisket or pork almost every time I am with them on a kettle. It would be kind of nice to have a dedicated smoker.

Here are a couple pics. (http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/06/b16e2b26129438e3d9d478c1acfeae03.jpg)(http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/06/883be24bb96cdafadb01b65328e7c07c.jpg)

Yeah, nice score.  For $85, I'd definitely give it to the inlaws.  Score some brownie points and make life easier on yourself at the same time.  Win/win.

Isn't that some kind of tri-fecta ???   A 22", 18.5", and a 14" WSM   ...   yes, you need all three.
