Title: Yes! Blue MBH...in Australia.
Post by: kendoll on December 14, 2014, 06:03:26 PM
I don't yet know the history of this grill, or how it came to be in Australia, but I just had a friend confirm that it is now in his possession. It's a B code.

I have already sent him a link to the packaging article from this site. :)

Can't wait to get a hold of this and have it side by side with my yellow (once it makes it way here)!

Hope these are genuine Weber accessories.

Congratulations Kendoll! That is an amazing blue! Can't tell if the tools are original but those wood handles are sweet! That roasting rack looks vintage weber. That original cooking grate looks solid! I don't see a chip on that bowl or lid! F'ing sweet!

Awesome find, Ken!  That thing looks near perfect!  Save it for me - I'll pick it up on my next trip.

Sorry to hear about the hostage situation in Sydney.  Hope everyone escapes harm.  I walked right past that place a few weeks ago!

Cheers guys. A blue MBH has been on my wanted list for quite a while and to actually have one turn up in Australia is pretty freaky.

The guy I bought it from is the original owner who purchased it in Adelaide way back in 1980.

@kendoll   Congrats on the blue Ken.  Mighty fine blue.  You mean this yellow?  One of the nicest around.  I checked on it yesterday.
