There's no learning curve - go straight to cooking    8)

Start the same way you do with the OT, close down the bottom vents as needed to drop the temp.

I didn't buy it.  Same guy has this one, a black MBH, and a red mastertouch.  He's about 45 mins from me.  I'm thinking the red one may be coming home with me.

I have the same question...black or something else. Mine is a pat#. I guess 70-74. Was stored inside since 1980 or so.

I really like the faded blacks, I think it's the favorite grill I own. These all seem to come from the same era. Something in the mix must've caused them to fade.
