Won't be able to post a write up on this white whale until next week.  I barely was able to secure this jewel yesterday afternoon.  Until then, here is another little peek. I now am a bonafide  member of the Wood Dale Mob.

I figured you have to possess at least one to be in the Wood Dale Mob.  This is my first.

Is your 18 custom not a Wood Dale?

@Cellar2ful you are on a roll...Congrats, and welcome to the club!  Is that ochre?  Or is this a one off color?  Looks lime green to avocado to me!  I can't wait for the full reveal!

Is your 18 custom not a Wood Dale?

No, my Custom has “Weber Brothers Metal Works / Chicago Illinois” on the lid vent. Although it is older than a Wood Dale lid vent kettle,  I don’t  think it qualified for the Wood Dale Mob.

Thanks Jason. It is yellow ochre.

Time to start a thread for this gem.

I am working off my wife’s IPad now as we are at a beach house rental for the weekend. I will start a new thread when I return home and have access to my PC and photos of it. It’s killing me not being able to share the story and photos with you all.

Awesome. In that case, welcome to the Wood Dale Mob!

So... in addition to finding you a ‘cado 18, sounds like we need to get you a Wood Dale 18 to truly complete your 18 MBH collection!
