Jamesnomore rubbed chook
« on: March 29, 2014, 05:44:29 PM »
James sent me some of his rub along with a trade we did and I decided to try it out on some WSM chicken thighs today. The thighs aren't finished yet, but here they are along with my new/old WSM. I'll update when they are finished.

Okay, here's the finished picture and it tasted as good as it looked. Excellent balance on the rub James! Thanks again for sharing it with me.

Looks really good!
I have not cooked any chicken on my WSM yet. How long were these beauties on the smoker?
A bunch of black kettles

No problem!! I think we both made out, I'm really stoked on the rotisserie pics going up soon. Those thighs look really good. Since I'm without a wsm I do them on the kettle and I'm never disappointed.  I'm glad you liked the rub, i like the sweet to spicy balance and my wife and 10 year old don't whine since the heat is not to high.
