Awesome grill! What's the back story?

Nothing really juicy. Troy bought it, put it together and never cooked on it. He said it was to big for him and his wife. He sold it to me for a great price. I stopped by his moms house this afternoon, where he has about a dozen webers stored, and picked it up. Great guy.

Awesome. I love cooking on my 26er. It's my goto tool for ribs, cooking indirect, or anytime I want to use one of my larger cast iron skillets.

That's a 13lb ham in the middle with a little over half a chimney of charcoal on each side. That would have been a Lot more work to do in a 22.5" kettle due to the size, or in my 22.5" WSM due to wanting a higher temp. The 26er was the perfect compromise.

This thread is filled with "win"

Peas - congrats on the new 26'er.  Literally.  I don't use mine very often, but love it when I do fire it up.
Hatch - nicely done keeping in in the MidAtlanticCrew (MAC)  :)  And yeah, glad you decided to keep the bluey!
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

Peas - nice pickup!  Look forward to seeing some "big cooks" on that shiny new SS grate.

Hatch - way to do a buddy a favor, glad it stayed in the WKC family.
