Gotta say I like it!!
When I got my sage green performer I wasn't sure if I liked the colour
But after a couple of weeks it grew on me , and now it's probably my favourite colour
These new blues will probably be sought after in a few years time
They definitely will in OZ
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

You know the truth is I'm not knocking the color as there are probably many
who would love it. I had my heart set in stone for a Dark Blue Performer that
is why I had such a high level of disappointment. My biggest complaint would
be that they should change the advertising to reflect the proper color. In the end
it isn't a bad looking color it's just not one I prefer.

MINI-
Thanks for posting the pics!  As others have said, this color is the exact same shade that is on my 2013-vintage OTG.  In my opinion, it's not very pleasing when you're close to it, but it's BEAUTIFUL when you back away from it.  (especially with some 'blond' Zavod handles!)

It's interesting to me that Weber calls this a "special" color.   It's no more special than the OTG I bought at HD.com last summer.     ::)

Some snow on my "purple" OTG with Zav's blonde handles ...

Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?

This looks like my 2005 and 2008 perforners. Never saw it as purple. Is this a different blue? It looks the same.
