Replacement leg, wheels, wire kit
« on: February 19, 2014, 12:21:29 PM »
How reasonable is $45 for a wheel, legs, & wire triangle replacement kit for 22" kettle? If I don't get this now is it hard to find these later?

That is high.  I ordered some this past summer from weber directly for $23 IIRC.

part# 3639.  They might still be in stock, I do not know.

Thanks. eBay listed price is actually $25, but shipping brings it up to about $45.

Max, prices went up recently. It was discussed here, but alot of the replacement parts went up in price 2-3x.

Yeah I just went back and checked and looks like last time someone ordered these 3639's (after the price hike), they were $35ish.  So $45 might not be bad if you need it right now.

And as far as them being hard to find.. they should remain easy to source from Weber.

$13.95 is a pretty good deal even if you just need legs and wheels.  They are the same as a 22.

I didn't realize they used the same set up for both 18s and 22s. I'll contact the store tomorrow. Thanks.

Dale....just want to make sure we are on the same page, the legs/wheels are the same between the 18 and 22.  The triangles and ash pans will be different.

Thanks for the clarification. I understand your point. Even if a person were able to use just the legs and wheels, $13.95 is still a decent price.
