I've been cooking these on a gasser for years.  My wife wanted some this past weekend, so I thought I'd try it out. Very pleased.  It's a bonus that you can throw some wood chips on there and add some smoke flavor. Now I want some steak.  Hopefully this weekend...

I love the smell of wood smoke and cooking meat...

Would that be in the Warner Robins or Perry area?  I don't know where in Texas you are, but as an aside in return, I lived in Ft. Worth for about 4 years back in the late 80's.  Loved it.

Thanks, by the way.  They were quite tasty.   ;D

Looks great! That's a lot of shrimp. Did you baste/rub/marinate them with anything?
kettles, smokers...

Actually, it's very simple.  A buddy of mine turned me on to it.  I marinated them in Newman's Own Light Lime Vinaigrette for about an hour or two, and then I skewered them and threw on a hot grill.  About 2-3 minutes per side and they were done.  Simple but very tasty.   :)
