Yesterday was a good day...The Galley Que arrival. UPDATE
« on: November 03, 2013, 09:45:20 AM »
One leg and a leg socket has a hole drilled for the chain to attach.  It is the top leg in the leg pic.  I will attach the chain later.

The bottom vent is 3/4 black porcelain and 1/4 blue porcelain.

That's a beautiful specimen of a rare grill.

If I came across one of those... I don't know what I'd do.
I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

Great looking grill Harris.  Will you cook on it?

Nice pair, but you need a few white caps on that big one. How appropriate!

Awesome score again Harris! Thanks for sharing it. I find that vent interesting? I have to wonder why it wan't completely painted? I guess they knew it wasn't going to show and the handle had to be. I wonder why they didn't just do them in chrome? It took a lot of patience to get that grill away from Onetimer. ;)

Those are a pair of very cool little grills. I wondered how the bottom venting worked, but now that I see your photos, I'm assuming the small ash-catcher isn't tightened flush to the bowl so air can get in through the gap and eventually, through the vent.
