So I am not a huge shrimp fan. I like em enough but I don't place them toward the top of my craving list. That may have changed after tonight. I decided to try and smoke some on the kettle with a little pecan wood. WOW they were awesome. They got rave reviews from from the shrimp lovers in my family. I had some spicy cocktail sauce to drown them in if things went bad but it needed up not being necessary.
Here is an in progress shot...
And being served....
Thanks for checking this out...

I'm a shrimp lover and those look great! Mine are usually done while I'm waiting for the meat to rest. Well done!

Thanks, these were served as an appetizer. The kids picked dinner tonight. My daughter chose the shrimp and my son picked pork chops. So as soon as these were off the pork chops went on. Everything turned out awesome.

it's very easy to over cook shrimp, but yours look like they're done to perfection!

Thanks! It is an old brinkman smoking basket. It worked awesome for this application. They were tasty.
