Discuss:  Kettle   Gas

I have noted this blog before, which is fantastic for its foodtography, but I stumbled across the above gem of a post.  I might try to contact the gentleman with that grill.

I've never seen a 18inch gas kettle that is a killer grill!

Isn't that the one Reilly was tracking down? If i'm not mistaken this is the grill that made Reilly join tvwbb and post a wanted ad and share some of his collection.

I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Hey G$ and everyone, I had to post and thank you all for the kind words about my blog and the sad update on the gas kettle.

After spending a few days with it, I knew I wanted to fire it up on a return trip.  This is, of course, when I learn my Uncle got rid of it.  I about died.  It really wasn't it that bad of shape.  In fact, the cutting board side table that came with it, was inside the house, and in pristine condition.

I documented the grill in hopes others would appreciate such a find.  It looks like you all did.

Grill on!
Mike

Here's a Link to a thread with the same photos of the gas kettle and that Ed wants one like this.

Yes! Most of us were. I was the OP on that one. Good times.

Amazing that so few people commented. Tells you the value of the kettle there to here.  That thread would have a lot more diverse posters here. Makes me appreciate this place all over again. Thanks again for starting a site for kettle lovers.
