Buckie, were the old Char-Broils the same as Happy Cookers? I thought the HCs had an internal ash pan?
Either way, this grill SUCKED for drinking and grilling! Rolled more than one bratwurst right off the edge of that flush top cooking grate.>:(
The dogs liked it though.

Okay, since no one here spoke up for the Char-Broil,;D I went ahead and traded it straight up for the 'cado.

I am not keeping it though. Someone with true resto skills has spoken for it!!;)

NO BUNGEE! I re-aligned the front leg/triangle joint so it was no longer needed.
And cleaned it up a bit.;D

Ya know......on second thought.....that would be a great kettle for a large turkey.....look at the size of the lid, damn near as deep as the bowl !!!!!

Nice score JC. Good to see that grill rescued. Plus sounds like the owner was happy with the trade.(<----- now the question is will they be happy when the brats and hot dogs roll of the grate when they are drinking and grilling  probably not!)
